We invite you to join us for a brief journey through the wild beauty of Banat Mountains. Within our day trip, we start from Iabalcea, going through the National Park Semenic and following the Caras River on a rocky road, adorned with caves, waterfalls and valleys. With a little bit of luck, we also meet wild animals. The fauna of this park being a very rich one in terms of numbers and species, some of them protected by law.

Throughout your hiking, a park ranger and a guide will explain you the local geology and history.

Exhausted after such an adventure, we fill the rest of our day with a traditional meal surrounded by the same breathtaking wildlife. You can try organic specialities such as pastry, dairy and meat, fresh vegetables and fruit carefully picked from the local gardens. We share our trip impressions by a glass of wine or tuica and we end our day with the return to Timisoara (around two hours).

Season: May 1th to October 1th

Reservations: at least two weeks in advance (in exceptional cases, please contact us), you will be picked up from your hotel in Timisoara

Services included: transfer (air conditioned car or bus) to Iabalcea and back, tour guide, traditional meal and lots of fun

Please note: this trip is available for a group of 3 people or more (in case of fewer people, please contact us), proper equipment is necessary: backpack, umbrella, waterproof clothing and medicines if needed.
